Share Music organises workshops which offer a unique approach to music, dance/movement, theatre and its performance. These workshops are designed for adults with a wide spectrum of disabilities (e.g. physical, learning, sensory) working with experienced helpers under the guidance of professional Tutors.

I first attended Share Music as a volunteer ‘Music Helper’ in 2014 which saw me attending day sessions in Exmouth college where (music leader at the time) Andy Pidcock helped involve me into the groups music making. I learned an awful lot just by watching his interaction with all participants. I was fascinated with how he held space and the attention of over 30 people single handedly with clear, precise but often very little movement or sound.

In 2018 I became a primary Music Tutor, leading and facilitating music workshops at various Share Music courses across the south west of England.
